Our cellulase (EC 188.8.131.52) product is a complex of several enzymes that act synergistically catalyze cellulolysis, the decomposition of cellulose and of some related polysaccharides. The general members of celluase include endo-1,4-beta-D-glucanase, carboxymethyl cellulase, avicelase, celludextrinase, cellulase A, and also contains a few of enzymes that cleave lignin.
Our cellulases could efficiently break down the cellulose molecule into monosaccharides such as beta-glucose, or shorter polysaccharides and oligosaccharides. The specific reaction involved is the hydrolysis of the 1,4-beta-D-glycosidic linkages in cellulose, hemicellulose, lichenin, and cereal beta-D-glucans.
Our cellulose product supplied an economic, green, and health measure for the production of modern products, broadly used for commercial food and feed processing, brewing, juice, etc. Furthermore, our cellulase is used in the fermentation of biomass into biofuels. Our cellulases are also widely used in textile industry and in laundry detergents. They have also been used in the pulp and paper industry for various purposes.
This product was produced by Aspergillus oryzae strain, which fermented in submerged medium, and then purified with the state of the art technics.
